Yasawa Island is 22 kilometres in length. Yasawa Island Resort is the only commercial development on the entire island. This island is home to six villages with almost 1000 people in total. The island is very traditional and apart from those employed by the resort, the majority of the local population lives subsistently – fishing and farming to provide for their families.
Yasawa Island Resort and Spa is discretely hidden among the palms on a stretch of pristine white beach, facing west towards the setting sun.
In December 2010, Expedia voted Yasawa’s beaches in the Top 10 in the World.
